REQUIREMENTS FOR PANAMANIAN PASSPORT RENEWAL
Please note, the renewal process for a passport can take up to 8 to 10 weeks. If you need to travel to Panama before that time, it might be better to request a travel document and then to renew your passport once in Panama.

- 2 photocopies of old passport (only first page). If lost, you have to send the Police Report of Lost Passport form.
- 2 photocopies of your Panamanian Cedula (Picture Identification Card), even if it has expired a
- 2 photocopies of another form of photo identification with signature. If you have lost your cedula, send us two notarized copies of two picture IDs. Note: The Consulate has the right to refuse the application without the cedula, regardless of alternate picture IDs and you may need to apply for a Travel Document to travel to Panama.
